LIFES SWEET MISERY
On the back of a sold out show support
with The Black Keys at the Tivoli in
Bristown, July sees the release in Japan
of Blackwater Fevers debut full length
album 'Sweet Misery'. Recorded at MVM
in Sydney & ElevenPM Studios, the
13 songs are currently being mixed over
2 weeks by Dave 'Voodoo' Drummond at
ElevenPM.

SID BEGINS ALBUM PREPRODUCTION
Silence is Deafening
began the preproduction journey for their
debut full length album (release early 2009)
with a demo of some new material. The song
'The Valley' has been getting heaps of interest
on the boys myspace and continues their
development towards a more mature hardcore
sound. Keep
an eye out for SID over the coming weeks
in a series of live gigs including From
the Hearts of Heroes CD launch-all ages
at the Blackbox, Nambour June 20th.

DAVE (VOODOO) RETURNS FROM THE U-S-of A
After a 10 week jaunt working in
the US for Cirque De Soliel, Dave (the D)
Drummond has returned to the Coast for a
well earned change of scenery (and a bit
of fishing!). That means doing a heap more
great recordings at Elevenpm over the next
few months. Elevenpm is currently taking
bookings for Dave for early April-Aug 2008.
Dave will return to the states in August
2008 so get in quick for some voodoo action!

Sunshine Coast hardcore band “Silence
is Deafening” recently played
a series of release dates showcasing

8M STANDS FOR
MUSIC
Maroochydore High Schools 8M music class
recorded their original song with teachers
Mr Gaedtke and Mr White during the last
week in November. The 28 students learnt
the process of running a recording session
and all participated their individual
parts. MHS' 8M is a class of musically
advanced students chosen to participate
in the school program

MUSIC ON THE WATERFRONT
Elevenpm recently sponsored Steve
Schultz Guitar Schools end of the year
primary school guitar concert. Attended
by over 300 people at the Waterfront Hotel
conference room, students entertained
the crowds with a selection of songs from
the 1960's -2000's. The recording prize
