FEVER'S 'SWEET MISERY'
Sweet Misery: The highly anticipated long
player from the guitar/drums two piece The
Blackwater Fever was released on Nov 22nd.
13 tracks of garage blues, alt-country,
murder ballads and four on floor rock n'
roll, with appearances by Steve Merry (The
Fumes) , Alex Archer (The Kill Devil Hills)
and crunk soloist Red Ghost put their mark
on this potent, multi-layered release. Recorded
at MVM in Sydney & ElevenPM Studios,
the 13 songs were mixed over 2 weeks by
Dave 'Voodoo' Drummond at ElevenPM.

KINDNESS OF STRANGERS
TKOS duo Brigitte
Jean Allen and David Killin are oh so
versatile and talented. The tracks are
all classics and are a richly layered
tapestry of string and wind sounds mixed
with velvet smooth vocals. ‘Raindrops’
reminds one of early Church tunes, while
‘Ghost In Love’, a lyric from
beyond the grave, is masterfully mixed
and sensitively sung and is reminiscent
of Nick Cave, Kate Bush and David Bowie

BEGINS ALBUM PREPRODUCTION
Silence is Deafening began the preproduction
journey for their debut full length album
(release early 2009) with a demo of some
new material. The song 'The Valley' has
been getting heaps of interest on the
boys myspace and continues their development
towards a more mature hardcore sound.

Fitz's recordings are always a heaps of
fun and shenanagins and as huge fans the
crew at ElevenPM Studios were chuffed
at recording "Stray Hat", Hatz's

Steve from Sydney rock-blues outfit 'The

the new Blackwater Fever album . The Blackwater
Fevers' new album, to be released in 2008
